Crime Stoppers
Crime Stoppers is a non-profit independent agency that works closely with local law enforcement and the media to solicit community knowledge. Citizens are asked to call Crime Stoppers with any information regarding crimes committed. No one will ever ask for names and your tips may turn into a cash reward. If you have any information regarding any criminal activity, please call 1-800-SHERIFF (1-800-743-7433).
How it Works
Once you contact Crime Stoppers, you will be given a code which is directly linked to the information you provide. At no time will anyone ask for your name. Once you receive the code, you are asked to check back periodically to inquire as to whether your information has led to an arrest. Once an arrest is made, you will be given step-by-step instructions to receive your cash reward.
Rewards
Crime Stoppers will pay out up to $1,000 for those tips which lead to an arrest of a crime committed in Lafourche Parish.
