In the early morning hours, the Larose Civic Center was burglarized. There was damage to several of the doors and spare change from an interior office was taken.

A burglary was reported by Galliano Elementary School. Entry was made through a window on the exterior of the school. A digital camera was taken.
At approximately 3:30pm on the same day, LPSO detectives were called out to Holy Rosary School in Larose in reference to a burglary. The burglary occurred sometime between Thursday evening and Monday morning. Two laptops (unknown make/model) and two Walkie-Talkies were taken.

While responding to a disturbance, a Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office unit had the rear window broken by rocks.
December 24, 2008
The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating two business Burglaries that occurred on December 24, 2008 at New Dragon China Buffet and The Blood Center, located at 16245 E. Main Street, in Galliano. An undetermined amount of cash was taken in these burglaries.

In the morning hours, Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office detectives were called out to the area of Chester Lee Street in Larose regarding several burglaries. Two white males were observed by a resident running from his property, but detectives were given only a vague description.

In the early morning hours, three black males were shot inside a vehicle on St. Louis Street in Raceland. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office detectives are currently investigating the incident. All calls will remain anonymous and you may be eligible to receive an increased reward of $2,500

Beginning in October, there have been several burglaries in Solar’s Trailer Park. The burglaries occur mostly in the evening when no one is inside.

Sometime between 8:30PM on Monday, 01-17-08 and 6:30AM on Tuesday, 01-18-08, building materials, tools, and welding leads were stolen from International Marine Shipyard in Larose. In addition to Crime Stoppers, the owners of the company are offering a $5,000 reward. Over the last several months, Consolidated Truck Salvage, located at 4864 Highway 182 in Bayou Blue, has been burglarized and vandalized. Vehicle and building windows have been shattered and miscellaneous items stolen from the yard.
Over the last several months, the coin box at the Bayou Car Wash in Cut Off has been broken into.

Between 9:00AM and 11:00AM, a residence in the 100 block of Banker Drive was burglarized. The assailant entered the residence through a side door beneath the carport by breaking a window pane on the door. Evidence suggests that the burglar was alone and that he/she targeted specific items such as jewelry. Several thousands of dollars worth of jewelry were taken from the residence. Witnesses have seen a young white male with sandy blonde hair, riding or pushing a bicycle in the area. His actions are described as suspicious. November 24-26, 2007
In the early morning hours of approximately twelve reports were made in the Thibodaux area advising that vehicle and building windows had been shot out by what appeared to be a BB gun.
November 17, 2007
The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide which occurred in the Alidore community on the night of November 17th, 2007 at approximately 10:00PM.
Sometime between 5:00PM on Friday November 16, 2007 and 10:00AM on Saturday, November 17, 2007, Cash in a Flash, located at 13970 West Main Street in Larose, was burglarized. A safe containing cash and several checks was+ taken.
During the same time frame, Bayouside Tire, located at 13360 East Main Street in Cut Off, was also burglarized. A cash register containing cash was taken.
September 30, 2007
On the morning of Sunday, September 30, 2007, a three story house boat and nearby smaller house boat, located at 14503 East Main Street in Cut Off, were burglarized. Each room was entered causing an estimated damage of $3,000-4,000. Detectives with the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office are investigating the incident.

Several storage facilities throughout the parish have been burglarized over the last month. It is believed that several suspects are involved and appears to be a crime of opportunity.

Consolidated Truck Salvage on Hwy 182 in Bayou Blue has been vandalized three times in the last three weeks. Vandals damaged several vehicles as well as the building.

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide which occurred in the Alidore community at approximately 7:45PM. Two black male subjects were seen fleeing the area, one of which was described as light skinned, slim in build, wearing dark clothing.
